Product Manager - Sensors


Corelight is a cybersecurity startup in the network detection and response (NDR) market, based in downtown San Francisco and Columbus, OH.  Our technology helps defend some of the world's most sensitive, mission-critical organizations and gives defenders a commanding view of their environment - so they can outsmart and outlast adversaries. Role

You’ll be managing the sensor business, an integral part of the Corelight portfolio, delivering value to customers with software features that center around Zeek, atop hardware that’s built to perform. You’ll manage all aspects of the business, from cradle to grave, and have the opportunity to design from the bottom up new sensors. You’ll also deliver on new software features across a wide range of scope. This is an exciting opportunity, offering the ability to delve deep across features, performance, scale, high availability, authentication, licensing, and more. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sensor roadmap and strategy
  • Engage with customers and account teams to understand and articulate their needs and use cases
  • Define and deliver on the product life cycle, from conception to end of life, incorporating customer and internal feedback
  • Work closely within the organization, including engineering and sales, to deliver product, evangelize Corelight, competitively position and assist sales in closing deals
  • Be a part of what drives Corelight to continued success!

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years experience in product management roles
  • Great communication skills and experience working across sales, engineering, support, partners and end customers
  • Desire and ability to explore new domains, dive in deep and come up to speed quickly
  • Detailed, creative thinker: be able to learn new things deeply and quickly, and combine with existing knowledge to drive analysis and fact-driven decisions
  • Security insight: working knowledge of corporate security investigation and incident response processes
  • Networking: understanding of networking infrastructure and components
  • Experience with hardware platforms, performance and/or characterization testing a bonus
  • Education: Degrees in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience); MBA is a bonus but not required
